Shetu holds a degree in film production from York University and a master’s in journalism from the University of Western Ontario. It is her passion for and dedication to the exploration of women’s issues that has inspired the creation of dollmag.ca. Her skill with storytelling and ability to sympathize with all types of people is a force that will guide dollmag.ca coverage in every posting to come.

Elyssa graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh this year, where she studied professional writing, creative writing, and photography. She is now a Manhattanite, working in the media industry and as a freelance writer and photographer. She adores wearing crazy-coloured eyeliner, movies in Technicolor, and dancing of any kind.
